My design journey began on the US-Mexico border, developing digital solutions for refugee families entering migrant detention for asylum seekers. I’ve worked in grassroots community organizing, from refugee camps to prisons, for over 15 years. My passion for accessibility and inclusivity extends to all stages of the design process - from participatory research practices to collaborative and empathetic partnerships with clients and stakeholders.

Since 2022, I’ve led Riparian Design- specializing in websites and digital strategy campaigns for community organizations, nonprofits, and social good projects. We’ve developed multilingual digital services for over 200,000 users across 6 international markets. We’ve served as a strategic partner, community liasion, and design and development expert for community outreach campaigns, government healthcare projects, and digital transformations for organizations of all sizes.
